DHS is seeking to develop culturally affirming and responsive community-based services to promote child abuse prevention and family preservation for African American and African Heritage children and families
DHS, through its Child Safety and Permanency Division, is seeking to develop culturally informed, affirming and responsive community-based child abuse prevention and family preservation services targeting the children, youth, families and communities of African American and African heritage experiencing the highest disparities, disproportionality, and overrepresentation in the Minnesota child welfare system.
The term of any resulting contract is anticipated to be for one year, from July 1, 2024 until June 30, 2025. Awarded funds not exhausted between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025 will not be carried over into the fiscal year 2025-2026.
