TO
REQUEST FOR BID
Roof Replacement on Salt Shed
In reference to the Town of Merrimack’s request to replace the roof of the Salt Shed
Building at the Highway Maintenance Complex, Friday, May 3, 2024 at 2:00PM, please
be advised that the following questions have been answered:
1. For the ice and water shield, is it around entire perimeter or
just the eves?
We would like the ice and water shield around the entire perimeter, up to
6’ to 8’.
2. Can I provide 2 quotes for different quality shingles?
Yes, you can provide 2 quotes. We ask that you provide each quote on a
separate bid form. You can label them bid #1 and bid #2.
3. Does the ice and water shield need to be granulated?
You can put in a price for granulated and non-granulated in the exceptions
area of the bid form.
