Functional Replacement Barge Dock
Pease Development Authority Division of Ports and Harbors (Owner) is requesting Bids for the
construction of the following Project:
Functional Replacement Barge Dock
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Pease Development Authority – Division
of Ports & Harbors located at 555 Market Street, Portsmouth, NH 03801 until Tuesday, October 24, 2023
at 2:00 PM. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
The project includes a steel/concrete extension to the north and to the south, replacing the fender
system along the existing wharf, shoreside excavation, blasting, grading, and paving, contaminated soil
handling and disposal, relocating a floating dock, and dredging and in‐water blasting.
Bids are requested for the following Contract: Functional Replacement Barge Dock.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is:

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday
through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and may obtain copies of the Bidding
Documents from the Issuing Office as described above. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be
available from the Issuing Office.
All Bidding Documents will be uploaded to the Pease Development website at
peasedev.org/business/bids‐opportunities/
Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including
addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office or the Owners website.

Pre‐bid Conference
A pre‐bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Pease
Development Authority – Division of Ports & Harbors, 555 Market Street, Portsmouth, NH 03801.
Attendance at the pre‐bid conference is encouraged but not required.
All prospective bidders must register for the pre‐bid conference with Bids@appledoremarine.com .

For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award,
refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
