    ADDENDUM #1
    BID #2024-17
    FLOATING DOCK EXTENSION
    BIRDSEYE BOAT RAMP FACILITY
26th January, 2024 It is intended that this Addendum incorporating the following corrections, revisions,
additions, deletions and clarifications become part of the Contract Documents, including pricing as submitted.
    Q&A:
    1. Would you prefer (2) 10ft x 20ft floating docks to get to the 40ft length, rather than a single 40ft length
    dock?
Answer: The Town cannot accept two (2) docks. This is because the permit was issued and plans drawn
for a single dock, therefore, the Town would need to apply for a new permit in order to change the
    current configuration.
    2. Are we to assume that an Army Corps of Engineers Section 10 permit as well as Conn DEEP Waterway
permit have been issued to the Town of this site?
Answer: Confirming we have both permits for the Army Corps of Engineers and CT DEEP.
    3. Does a Town building permit have to be taken out by the awardee and if so, what is the cost?
Answer: The awarded contractor will be responsible for obtaining the building permit, however, the
fee will be waived by the Town. There is no cost to the awarded contractor. Please reach out to the
building department regarding any requirements for the permit:
