City of Waldron, will receive sealed bids for the Lara Ave. Drainage Improvements until 10:30 A.M. local time on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at City of Waldron, 370 Featherston St., Waldron AR 72958. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately after specified closing time. Meeting information will be posted to the QuestCDN online bid interface under Project Q&A. All interested parties are invited to attend.
The project includes replacement of existing drainage pipes along Lara Avenue with 24” x 14” RCPA and 30” x 19” RCPA with associated drainage inlets, installation of curb and gutter, mill and inlay existing surface of Lara Avenue, and replacement of driveway cross drains.
Bids shall be on a unit price basis.

These documents may be downloaded by selecting this project from the “Current Bids” link, and by entering Quest Project Number 9025672 on the “Browse Projects” page. Addendums to the bid package will be issued through the online MCE Plan Holders List; therefore, all prime bidders shall be responsible for downloading the bid documents from the MCE online plan room in order to be included in the Plan Holders List and submit a bid. Bidders must enter the addenda numbers in the Proposal to verify receipt.
Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to City of Waldron in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid.
This publication was paid for by the City of Waldron, and the cost of the publication is $442.74, per Arkansas Code 14-55-208 and related statutes.

The attention of the Bidder is directed to the applicable federal and state requirements and conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under this Contract.

The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time, which shall not exceed beyond 90 days from the bid opening date.
