INVITATION FOR BIDS
City of Greenwood will receive and accept bids ONLY through QuestCDN.com via their electronic VirtuBid™ online bid service. A virtual bid opening will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 11:00 am, utilizing the Zoom link (located on QuestCDN), with the Meeting ID 576 032 3863, Passcode x1r9nK.
The Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, Summit Ridge Drive is an existing gravel roadway on the south edge of Bell Park and is being improved to a new asphalt roadway. Portions of the new road will be on new alignment. Summit Ridge Drive begins at the intersection with Bell Park Road near the Senator Ed Wilkinson Pavilion and extends easterly approximately 2600 linear feet to the intersection with N Main Street. The project consists of one, two, and three-lane asphalt pavement. Approximately 900 linear feet of the project includes curb, gutter, and sidewalk. The remainder of the project has aggregate shoulders with open ditches. The project includes storm drainage improvements consisting of concrete pipe, inlets, crossroad pipe culverts, and ditch grading along with other work including pavement markings, driveway approaches, and earthwork.
Bids shall be on a Unit Price bid.
A pre-bid conference will not be held.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The check(s) or bond(s) shall be made payable to City of Greenwood, 30 Bell Road, Greenwood, Arkansas 72936, as security that the bidder(s) to whom the award(s) are made will enter into contract to build the improvements bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance.

Each successful bidder shall supply a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond executed by a corporate surety licensed in the State of Arkansas in an amount equal to 100 percent of the contract price as part of his contract.
The City of Greenwood, Arkansas reserves the right to accept any bid which it deems most advantageous to the City, and to reject any or all bids submitted and to hold as many bids as it desires for consideration for a period of sixty (60) days after the bids are open.
