RFQ# 24-02
Arkansas State University – Newport (ASUN) is soliciting responses from qualified firms to provide general contractor construction management services for the construction of a Center for Health Sciences.
ASUN is seeking to construct a Health Sciences Center to consolidate the school’s health professional training programs from several smaller existing buildings on the ASUN Campus to a new, state of the art facility. The project consists of the construction of a health sciences education building, site utility improvements including water, sewer, gas, electric/power, and site grading and drainage improvements. The project funded in part by the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration and the Delta Regional Authority.
Currently, ASUN has a $10 million budget for the project. This includes a $5 million EDA Grant, a $221,000 DRA Grant, with the rest being funded through private donations, and other sources. General contractors and architect/engineering services will work with university personnel in determining requirements for the design of the building.
The deadline for responses is 2:00 pm local time, April 24, 2024. All respondents will be notified of the results by E-MAIL, so please provide accurate contact information. Statements of Qualifications will be reviewed by a selection committee and a short-list of firms will be invited to interview with the university.
