ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The City of Searcy is accepting sealed bids for construction of THE CARMICHAEL CENTER – DOG PARK, BASKETBALL COURT EXPANSION project until 2:00 p.m. on January 18, 2024 at the City of Searcy, 401 W. Arch Ave., Searcy, AR 72143, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Project consists of construction of a new dog park, basketball courts, and associated concrete walks, asphalt parking, minor earthwork, landscaping, and minor drainage construction.
All proposals shall be on the forms within the specifications and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the “City of Searcy, 401 W. Arch Ave., Searcy, AR 72143” and marked “Proposal for THE CARMICHAEL CENTER – DOG PARK, BASKETBALL COURT EXPANSION.”
The City reserves the right to reduce the total amount of work to be done as required by budget restraints. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to accept the proposal deemed to be for the best interest of the City.

Owner will not be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than those listed above.
Proposals will be considered on the basis of cost, the bidder’s financial responsibility, his equipment, and his past performance on similar projects. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
