Separate sealed Bids for the construction of Water System Improvements Contract Section – Water Main & Pump Replacement will be received, by City of Jasper, at the City Hall located at 101 Elm St, Jasper, Arkansas, until 2:00 p.m. local time on March 5th, 2024, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
The project consists of the following:
• Approximately 6,980 lineal feet of 6-inch PVC water mains
• Approximately 340 lineal feet of 4-inch PVC water mains
• Approximately 50 lineal feet of 2-inch PVC water mains
• Connect to existing water mains,
• Approximately 500 lineal feet of HDPE service line
• Replacement of Cardinal Booster Pump Station
• Replacement of Hillside Drive Booster Pump Station
• Hydrants, valves, and all appurtenances necessary for a complete installation, as specified and shown on the Plans.
Information for Bidders, Bid Forms, Form of Contract, Plans and Specifications, Bid Bond Form, Performance and Payment Bond Forms, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations: Engineering Services, Inc., 1207 S. Old Missouri Road, Springdale, Arkansas 72765 and Jasper City Hall, 101 Elm St, Jasper, Arkansas. Printed copies may be obtained at the office of Engineering Services, Inc., 1207 South Old Missouri Road, Springdale, Arkansas 72765, Phone 479-751-8733, upon a non-refundable payment of One Hundred dollars ($100.00) for each set. Digital copies may be obtained through QuestCDN or through www.engineeringservices.com upon a non-refundable payment of forty dollars ($40.00).
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount for and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
