The United Nations Development Corporation (UNDC), a public benefit corporation of the State of New York, is seeking a qualified contractor to furnish and install loading dock steam unit heaters at Two UN Plaza. The building is a Class A high-rise commercial office building located in east midtown Manhattan. The building will be occupied and operational throughout the duration of the project. The UNDC properties are managed by Cushman & Wakefield.

The minimum required qualifications are as follows:

• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in this field.
• Licensed by the State and City of New York.
• Liability insurance of $10,000,000.
• A resume of current assignments in New York City at comparable Class A office buildings.

Interested companies must provide evidence of their qualifications and relevant experience including a minimum of five (5) references with contact information from high-rise commercial office buildings in New York City. MWBE / SDVOB Participation Requirements

Pursuant to New York State Executive Law Article 15-A and Parts 140-145 of Title 5 of the New York Codes, Rules, and Regulations, UNDC is required to promote opportunities for the maximum feasible participation of New York State-certified minority and women-owned business enterprises (MWBEs) in the performance of UNDC contracts, and pursuant to New York State Veterans’ Services Law Article 3 and 9 NYCRR 252, UNDC is required to make good faith efforts to maximize contractual opportunities for New York State-certified service-disabled veteran-owned businesses (SDVOBs). The MWBE goal for this contract is 30%, and the SDVOB goal is 6%. If the contractor is not an MWBE or SDVOB, they should consider utilizing MWBEs and SDVOBs as subcontractors and suppliers.
