Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: The Metropolitan Transportation Authority, acting by and through MTA Construction and Development Company (MTA C&D), seeks to engage a consultant organization to provide a Construction Manager (hereinafter referred to as “CCM”) to assist the MTA C&D in administering management of the Project during the Construction and Closeout Phases. The CCM shall provide independent Construction Management Services for the Construction Contract and coordinate this work with other ongoing contracts which may impact this Project. The CCM Team will report directly to, the MTA C&D PCEO, or his/her authorized representative. The MTA C&D PCEO will conduct Project oversight and act as a liaison to the extent necessary, to oversee CCM conformance with the provisions of this CCM Contract and the Project Management Procedures (“PMPs”) and Project Management Guidelines (“PMGs”) of MTA C&D. The MTA C&D PCEO may overrule the CCM when it is deemed appropriate to resolve apparent conflicts between the CCM Contract and PMPs and PMGs, or to interpret the definition of any provision in the Construction Contract, CCM Contract, and the applicable PMPs and/or PMGs.
