SUNY Upstate Medical University Community Hospital (“UMU Community” or “Upstate”) is

requesting proposals from qualified vendors (“Contractor” or “Bidder”) to provide two (2) full-time employees for on-site On-Site HVAC Mechanic/Operator Technician to work on-site for owner directed preventive maintenance and repair for for a period of two (2) years, with a possibility of a three (3) year renewal period. This is a full-time position, with an eight (8) hour shift, beginning at 7:30 AM EST, Monday through Friday. An estimated 10%, or 200 hours, of optional overtime may be available. The position will report to a Hospital HVAC Supervisor, but could also take direction from the HVAC Manager, Day Shift HVAC Supervisor, or Shift Duty Engineer. The vendor must be able to meet all of the mandatory bidder qualifications listed in the IFB document. The vendor must review, understand and accept all the terms and conditions in the IFB. In accordance with New York State ("NYS") Lobbying Law §139 requirements, effective immediately, this procurement is in the "Restricted Procurement Period". This restricted period will be in effect until an award for this service has been fully executed. As this procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139-j&k, also referred to as the Lobbying Law, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact for this procurement is the individual(s) listed in this advertisement and in the IFB document.
