Scope of work: is to include all necessary labor, material and equipment for replacement of the domestic water booster pump system located in the Main Boiler Plant serving floors 2 through 7 of the Concentrated Care Center.

All work on this Contract is to be completed within 180 days after the date of the Notice to Proceed

Section 143 of the State Finance Law require payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Accordingly, a non-refundable deposit check in the amount of $45.00 made payable to SUNY Upstate Medical University is required. Deposits less than $50.00 are non-refundable.

A mandatory site visit is scheduled for February 28, 2023 at 10 AM with all contractors assembled in the Emergency Department Parking lot at 750 E Adams St, Syracuse, New York. All potential bidders are advised that they must sign a “Site Visit Form” to verify that they have complied with this requirement of the contract. Failure to fulfill this requirement will disqualify your bid proposal.

Bids must be submitted in triplicate (3), which must have original signatures on the forms provided by the University, in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.

It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.

The selected contractor must comply with M/WBE goals. State University of New York goals are: 20% MBE and 10% WBE participation of the total contract value. State University of New York also has a goal for the Work Force participation: EEO 10% WBE and EEO 10% MBE of total work force on the project.
