Description: The work of this single bid project includes upgrading the science labs, restrooms, and associated fire protection systems in Evenden Tower. The scope also includes improvements for the existing walkways around the Welding Lab, Murphy, MacDonald, and O’Connor Halls. Plans will be available after March 21, 2024 through Camelot Print & Copy Centers (518-435-9696 & camelotbids@teamcamelot.com ).
A project walk-through has been scheduled for April 9, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., meeting at the Wall Service Building.
Special Notice to Potential Bidders: Please review the Bid and Post Bid Checklist on the Construction Opportunities page on the Fund’s website ( https://www.sucf.suny.edu/ ) for more information on bidder’s qualifications and other requirements. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule. In accordance with State Finance Law §139-j, all non-technical inquiries regarding this procurement must be directed to Robbilee Luedtke at SUCF.ConstructionBids@suny.edu or for MWBE related issues, Scott Clay at SUCF.OpportunityAdmin@suny.edu .
