Upgrade Dairy Complex Infrastructure
Description:

The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from consultants to provide design and construction administration services for the Upgrade Dairy Complex Infrastructure project at the State University of New York, College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill.

This project is to renovate the Dairy Complex which is comprised of the main cow barn, the milking parlor, and the connecting corridor. Building components that are past their useful lives will be replaced. Milking and cow management equipment will be replaced with modern systems which are in line with modern dairy production practices and promote animal handling, health, and sustainability of natural resources.

Work includes replacing free stall partitions, gates, rubber mats, manure flush system, lighting, ceiling mounted fans, assessment and refurbishment of structural system, and new robotic milking equipment. Supplemental mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work is anticipated. This includes new AHUs, transformer, switchgear, sprinkler and fire alarm system, controls, and diesel generator.

The construction value is estimated at approximately $7,721,000.

Once registered, consultants will receive an email with the applicable Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and the link to upload your Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) at the submission deadline.

SOQs must be submitted in the format prescribed by the Fund using the link provided in the email received after registration that supplies the RFQ. Required electronic copies of Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) must be received by the due date and time specified in the RFQ.
