NOTICE TO BIDDERS

State University of New York at Oswego will receive electronic secured bids via the e-builder platform for Project No. 100283 Titled: Mackin Steamline Phase II until Wednesday March 20, 2024 at 2:00pm.

Proposals are to be submitted electronically via e-builder https://gateway.app.e-builder.net/app/bidders/landing?accountid=c1007a87-19e9-483f-98b2-599731ba4506&projectid=1ae74ae8-243f-48ae-876b-d1637d9ab32b&bidpackageid=68af7074-6bce-4349-bac9-28b8fc351d5d ) . Proposals will be opened and read aloud via a conference call, with the bid results to be posted online thereafter. The original bid package is to be mailed to SUNY Oswego, Purchasing Department, 402 Culkin Hall, Oswego, NY 13126. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 78 days after the Notice to Proceed. Scope of Work: Abatement removal and disposal of underground tunnel/conduit, associated steam and condensate pipes and related asbestos insulation, sealants or debris. Removal of tunnel sections and piping (steam and condensate), pavement, sidewalks and landscaping. Installation of new steam and condensate piping inside and outside existing manhole E6 and site restoration.

A non-mandatory walkthru of the area where the work is to be performed has been scheduled to fully understand the parameters and constraints which affect the preparation of the bid for the same. The walkthru has been scheduled for Tuesday March 5, 2024 at 9:00am. Those who wish to participate should meet at entrance to Mackin Hall on the SUNY Oswego Campus.

Complete sets of Contract Documents for bidding may ONLY be obtained from Plant and Print Systems or e-builder. Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents, deposits less than $50.00 are non?refundable Accordingly, a non-refundable deposit check in the amount of $40.00 for Documents, made payable to Plan and Print Systems is required. Requestors are responsible for shipping charges. All plan holders who receive the Contract Documents from Plan and Print Systems will receive Addenda notification by e-mail.

Bids must be submitted electronically in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. The original bid package is to be mailed to the campus after the electronic version is submitted. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority and women?owned business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The Campus MWBE Goals are 19% Minority and 11% Women. The Campus SDVOB goals are 6%.
