The Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) is seeking firm fixed-price Bids from qualified contractors for Scheduled & On-Call Rubbish Removal & Disposal Services at various facilities in the counties of Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. The successful bidder(s) (the “Contractor”) shall furnish all labor, equipment, permit, reports, superintendence, insurances, consumables (fuel, oil, etc.), materials, tools, transportation and maintenance of equipment necessary to pick up and lawfully dispose of rubbish and debris using Contractor furnished, owned or leased containers on Railroad property as outlined in the Technical Statement of Work (“TSOW”).

• Contractor transporting C&D waste must have a NYS Part 364 waste transporter permit, in addition, within New York City, a waste tracking document is required for individual loads of C&D debris that have been generated in New York City.

• Transfer Station requirements of Part 360 is required for construction and demolition debris.

• Contractor must have a minimum of five years’ experience in the field of dumpster delivery, removal and switch-out and minimum of three successfully completed contracts.
