SEALED PROPOSALS WILL BE RECEIVED by the Commissioner of General Services, c/o Division
of Public Works, Town of Hempstead, Town Hall, Room 211, 350 Front St., Hempstead, New York,
until 11:00 A.M. prevailing time on January 5th, 2024 at which time they shall be publicly
opened and read aloud and the contract awarded as soon thereafter as may be practicable for:

A – 1 A fee of $100.00 (Check only) will be required for all bidders for a copy of the Proposed Contract
Documents. Please make your check payable to the Town of Hempstead.
A – 2 Each proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to the Town of
Hempstead for not less than 5% of the estimated amount of the bid.
A – 3 Bid documents may be OBTAINED IN PERSON ONLY AT THE OFFICE of THE
COMMISSIONER of GENERAL SERVICES, c/o DIVISION of PUBLIC WORKS, TOWN HALL,
ROOM 211, HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. AND MAY BE SEEN AT THE SAME OFFICE.
A – 4 Federal Equal Opportunity and Labor Standards are applicable for all work performed under
this contract.
A – 5 The Town of Hempstead reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
