Description:

The Town of Barrington is seeking submittals from qualified firms to serve as a consultant to the Town in a full rewrite to the Town’s Comprehensive Plan. See the Related Documents for the PDF with full bid details.

Proposals are due by 4:00 PM local time on Monday, April 15, 2024, at which time Proposals will be opened at the Planning, Building, and Resilience Department at Town Hall. No late bids will be considered. One (1) original and four (4) copies of the proposal, sealed and plainly marked on the outside of the envelope, shall be submitted to:

Questions concerning this Request for Qualifications must be submitted in writing no later than 4:00 PM. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, via e-mail to Teresa Crean at tcrean@barrington.ri.gov (please “cc” Isabelle Gillibrand at igillibrand@barrington.ri.gov ).  The Town will respond to all submitted questions in the form of an addendum under the Bid Notice on the Town’s website at https://barrington.ri.gov/Bids.aspx ; it is the intent of the Town to post this Addendum by no later than 4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

The Town of Barrington reserves the right to reject any or all proposals for any reason or no reason and to accept the proposal most favorable to the Town of Barrington. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the date and time of opening.
