Section
1Q
Question / Answer
Section 3.7 Proposed Project Approach (Page 9 of the RFP) states, “Submit
List of all subcontractors, in addition to the W/MBE Subcontractors Listed
on EBO Form. See Attachment.” Also, on Page 11 the EBO Compliance form
has a note at the bottom stating, “This Form and Supporting
Documentation must be submitted with the bid or the bid will be
considered non-conforming.” Because the design is incomplete, and the
CMAR is required to bid the project out later, we cannot provide
subcontractor information at this time. Please confirm this information is
not required from vendors with the RFP Response but will be required later.
1A
Yes, that is correct, this information is not required from vendors with the
RFP Response but will be required later and EBO Goals will have to be met.
2Q
Please provide a duration of Pre-Construction Services so we can price
accordingly.
2A
That has not been determined at this time; however, this time frame is
anticipated to be a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of 60 days.
3 Q Section:
Exhibit 3
3A
Can you confirm that all we are providing for pricing at this time is on
this form? The Project Manual has language about sealed bid, lowest
bid and a bid bond. We want to make sure the Project Manual lowest
bid and bonding requirements are not applicable for this RFP response
You are to provide the lowest bid you can construct this project for based
on all the knowledge you have regarding this work; that includes, drawings,
specifications,, information obtained during the Pre-Bid Conference,
Addendums, and the knowledge that the drawings are not 100% complete
at this time, and your scope of work will be to work with the designers to
achieve a 100% final set of construction documents from which you will
construct the project, knowing that the maximum construction budget is
$1,800,000.00. A performance bond will be required when you submit your
response. A Bid Bond will not be required at this time.
4Q
What should be included in Pre-Construction Phase Fee? Is
demolition and testing to be included in this? If so, can you please
clarify quantities?
4A
Yes, demolition and testing should be included in the Pre-Construction
Phase Fee. There are no quantities available at this time.
