Notes
The City of Davenport is seeking bids from qualified vendors for Task 1 of the Modern Woodman Ballpark Structural Maintenance Project. The proposed improvements include, but are not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, equipment and materials to repair the stairs near the first base dugout as shown on the bid plans. Work shall include mortar repair, concrete block replacement, masonry demolition and concrete masonry, painting, PCC pavement, and other related items.



Bids must be submitted through the City of Davenport e-bidding system (https://davenport.ionwave.net); no emails, faxes, paper copies or any other submission method will be accepted. Each tab of the Invitation to Bid must be reviewed and responded to accordingly.

1 Communication Disclosure
Any communication in reference to this Invitation to Bid between bidders and any City employee or official, outside
of the Purchasing Division, during the entire competitive bidding process is strictly prohibited. Such actions will
result in the disqualification of the vendor/rejection of the vendor's bid.
The only official position of the City is that which is state in writing and issued by the Purchasing Division. No other
means of communication, written or oral, shall be construed as a formal or official response statement.

2 Bond Requirements
For all bids over $100,000 the City of Davenport requires a bid bond for 5% of the total amount of the project to be
submitted with the bid. The bid bond should be attached in the "Response Attachments" tab. Bids over $100,000
received without a bid bond will be considered non-responsive.
For all bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to submit a performance, payment, and four-
year maintenance bond for 100% of the total amount of the project.

4 DBE Subcontractors

During the performance of this contract, the contractor agrees as follows:

6 Non-Collusion Statement
By submitting a Bid for this project, the representative of the company certifies:
1. They are fully informed respecting the preparation and contents of the Bid submission and of all pertinent
