The City of Manhattan seeks qualifications from developers for the development of ten (10)
lots the City currently owns in Lee Mill Village subdivision (Lee Mill Village, Unit Four, Lots 1-
10). Lee Mill Village is located in southwest Manhattan, just north of Miller Parkway between
Wreath Avenue and Amherst Avenue. The lots are currently part of the Lee Mill Village Residential Planned Unit Development (PUD), which allows single-family attached and detached dwellings, as well as three-family and four family structures. The City wishes to partner with a qualified developer to construct workforce housing units on the ten lots. The City would like to work with the selected developer to apply for a Moderate Income Housing (MIH) grant project through the Kansas Housing Resource Corporation (KHRC) to develop the ten lots.
A pre-proposal meeting will be conducted at 11:30am, on June 28, 2023, in the City Commission Room located at 1101 Poyntz Avenue, in Manhattan, Kansas.
