Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) - Sunflower Fire Station Project
Johnson County, Kansas, in cooperation with the City of De Soto, Kansas, and the
Northwest Consolidated Fire District, seeks to select the most qualified Construction
Manager for preconstruction and construction management services for the
Sunflower Fire Station Project, a new 24,000 square foot fire station to be located
near the intersection of Lexington Avenue and 102nd Street in De Soto, Kansas.
This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is the first phase of a three-phase
procurement process for selection of a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR)
pursuant to the Alternative Project Delivery Building Construction Procurement Act
and as authorized by the Johnson County Board of County Commissioners on
September 28, 2023.
Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for RFQ No. 2023-063 shall be submitted
electronically via IonWave (https://jocogov.ionwave.net) until 2:00PM CT on
November 1, 2023, at which time they will be publicly opened via Zoom Video
Conferencing at the link provided in the Activities Tab. You must be registered as a
supplier in IonWave in order to submit a response and are encouraged to do so at
least two (2) business days prior to the deadline.
A Pre-Selection Conference will be held on October 20, 2023, at 2:00PM CT via
Zoom Video Conferencing at the link provided below. This Conference is optional
and not mandatory for submitting a response:
