General Description
The City of Greenville is accepting requests for proposal regarding the purchase of an
unmanned aerial vehicle (drone), including selected ancillary equipment, as a package
purchase, meeting the specifications outlined.

Bid Information
Any changes and/or addenda to this bid opportunity will be posted on
www.greenvillemi.org under the bids tab. Any and all questions regarding this bid
opportunity shall be directed to the principal contact listed above.
Due Date
Bids are due 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
Submission of Proposals
Please submit your sealed proposals using the attached bid form, as well as all other
requested information. One copy of the proposal shall be delivered to:

Request For Proposals
Evaluation of Proposals
The City will review submitted proposals and other relevant information (cost, best value
for the municipality, subjective considerations) regarding the product to which the City
wishes to purchase. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any response for any
or no reason and to waive any minor irregularity if determined to be in the best interest of
the City of Greenville. Individuals or companies submitting paperwork as part of the
proposal selection process understand, by their submission, the above evaluation
process.
Selection of Proposals
Once the winning proposal is selected, the City will draft an agreement. Upon bidder
approval and execution, it will be presented to Council for approval.
Scope of Work
The City of Greenville will accept bids for the purchase and delivery of one unmanned
aerial vehicle, plus ancillary equipment (including warranties), as an entire purchase
package.
The proposal return must also include a minimum three year warranty for parts, labor,
and repair.
No sales tax may be added to the proposal price as the City of Greenville is sales tax
exempt.

found on the next page of this document.
Companies proposing equipment outside of the bid specifications need to also provide
the justification as to why the bid specifications could not be met and how the equipment
proposed meets or exceeds the requested merchandise listed.

Specifications Testing and Training
“Pre-Flight Service” – the provider updates, tests, and ensures all hardware is activated
and ready to go upon delivery. This can be done and documented via certificate or
performed manually on-site at delivery time.
Training the company will provide training to department members regarding the use,
operation, technology, and components of the above listed UAV and ancillary equipment.
Warranty:
Minimum three year extended warranty for parts, labor, and repair.
Shipping:
Ground shipping cost (if not waived as part of the bid).
