LIFT STATION #2 GENERATOR
Village of L’Anse (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
LIFT STATION #2 GENERATOR
L02-03116
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the U.P. Engineers & Architects, Inc. office at
100 Portage St., Houghton, MI 49931, until Tue. October 17, 2023 at 2:00 PM local time. At that time the
Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work: Installation of concrete foundation for generator, installation
of generator and automatic transfer switch, and restoration.
OBTAINING THE BIDDING DOCUMENTS
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is:

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday
through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Eastern time, and may obtain copies of the
Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will
not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or
partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the
Issuing Office.
Bidding documents also may be examined at the following Builder Exchanges: Delta County, Iron
Mountain, Hurley, Marquette; and the Village of L’Anse office at 101 N. Main Street, L’Anse, MI 49946,
on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office by paying a deposit of
$50.00 non-refundable handling fee for each set of contract documents. Alternatively, bidding
documents are available as portable document format (PDF) files for a non-refundable charge of $25.00.
Make deposit checks for Bidding Documents payable to U.P. Engineers & Architects, Inc.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
