The following information becomes part and parcel of Request For Proposal (RFP) #124-20-2-29
effective this date. Firms must acknowledge receipt of this addendum in their solicitation response.
The listed items add to, modify, or otherwise alter the specifications and become part of the solicitation
documents. Where a portion of the original specifications are added to, modified, or also altered, the
portion not so affected shall remain. Firms may have the right to protest this addendum.
Solicitation Clarifications
Added information below regarding Site Security/Standing Guard services that the District has a
contract for:

The District has changed the wording in Section V, Award Criteria to read:
An award may be made to one (1) or more responsible firm in order to meet the District’s requirements.
Inquiries/ District Responses
Before the solicitation inquiry deadline of February 22nd, 2024, the District received inquiries regarding
this solicitation. The District’s response to each question follows in bold font.
1. Are all interior lights the same for each school?
Not all schools are the same, but generally there are 2' x 2' and 2' x 4' lay in fixtures, some
can and accent light fixtures. The typical fixtures are shown on the sample plans included
in the solicitation.
2. Are all exterior lights the same for each schools parking lot?

Not all schools are the same.
3. Will there be dimmers/switches replaced, or will interior lights work with current
dimmer/switch?
Typically, there are not dimmers in the school classrooms, but classrooms may have
multiple switches. New dimmers for the LED fixtures are typically installed.
4. How are the exterior lights controlled?
Either time clocks at the school, the district Building Automation system, or the lighting
control system at the school. Depends on the age of the Facility.
5. Will the pole and light be replaced or just the light itself?
Typically only the light fixture is replaced.
6. Is there available time for a site visit?
We do not object to site visits.
