The following information becomes part and parcel of Fixed Price Bid (FPB) #124-80-4-11 effective
this date. Firms must acknowledge receipt of this addendum in their solicitation response.
The listed items add to, modify, or otherwise alter the specifications and become part of the solicitation
documents. Where a portion of the original specifications are added to, modified, or also altered, the
portion not so affected shall remain. Firms may have the right to protest this addendum.
Inquiries/ District Responses
Before the solicitation inquiry deadline of April 4th, 2024, the District received inquiries regarding this
solicitation. The District’s response to each question follows in bold font.
1. Can the district provide a list of manufacturers of frequently purchased security camera
equipment? (i.e., preferred manufacturers of cameras, switching hardware, wireless
communication equipment, etc.) Avigilon (Motorola) for cameras, Lantronix for network
switches, TP Link or ubiquity for wireless bridge communication.
2. Is there a limit to the quantity of vendors that will be awarded this local contract? No Limit
3. Is Avigilon the VMS districtwide? We are in the process of switching everything over the
Avigilon. Once the project complete Avigilon will be our sole VMS
4. Does the district utilize any cameras that are a differing manufacturer than Avigilon? Currently
yes however, we are in the process of replacing all other cameras to Avigilon since they
manufacturer no longer operates in North America. When the district gets completed with
the project the district will solely be an Avigilon operation.
5. Does the district require protective cages or any mounting accessories for HALO sensors? If so,
are there material and/or manufacturer standards for those accessories? Currently no.

6. Can we please request an extension so that from the date of receiving Q & As there is at
minimum one-week until bid due date? Bid Opening has been adjusted to April 16th at 10am.
The items on this contract are in need of being purchased as soon as possible so award
must be done expeditiously.
7. Does the district seek for a percent mark-up or percentage discount per manufacturer/ material
category? This bid allows offeror to give either/or or a combination.
a. If percentage discount, is MSRP the base value of which the discount is to be applied to?
No, the sellers price catalog would be where it is discounted from.
8. At what date is an award posting expected? Shortly after bid opening. No timeframe
provided.
9. What is the estimated annual spend on camera systems & weapons detection systems for the
district? Unknown since it is “as needed” and based on available funding and identified
projects.
10. Are there any performance metrics or benchmarks that the vendor needs to meet to maintain the
fixed percentage discount? Vendor must adhere to the solicitation guidelines and terms and
conditions outlined. Price increases are also outlined in the solicitation.
