LOWNDES COUNTY INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (Owner) is requesting Bids for the

construction of the following Project:

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the offices of Lowndes County Industrial

Development Authority located at 1102 Main Street, Columbus, MS 39701, until May 9, 2023 at 10:00

a.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

Bid documents are being made available electronically and via original paper copy (if requested). Plan

holders are required to register for an account at www.neel-schafferplans.com to view and order Bid

Documents. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. Electronic bids

shall be submitted through www.neel-schafferplans.com . Bid documents are non-refundable and must

be purchased through the website. Please contact Plan House Printing at (662) 407-0193 with questions

regarding website registration and online orders.

Pre-bid Conference

A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on May 2, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the project site.

Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required. Representatives of Owner and

Engineer will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the

conference. Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer

considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. Oral statements may not be

relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective.

refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
