    Release Date: February 27, 2024
Response to ITB must be received by 2:00 PM CDT/CST on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Submitter shall acknowledge
receipt of this, and any addendum as stated in the RFP (See Attachment C - Addenda Acknowledgement Form).
This Addendum shall be considered a part of the original Invitation to Bid referenced
above. Except as described below, the original Invitation to Bid document remains
    unchanged.
The following questions were submitted by prospective submitters, and are answered as follows:
    1. What is the overall budget for this project?
Response: An overall budget has not been established.
    2. How long do you need to keep video? 30 days? 60 days? This will help determine how much
    storage is required.
Response: The video must be stored and accessible for 90 days.
    3. Blurring of the faces. Is it acceptable to store the video unblurred and blurred when there is an
incident? Are you wanting the faces to be blurred in real time so that those monitoring the feed
do not see faces? I want to understand the exact use of the face masking feature and what your
    intent is.
Response: The video should be stored “unblurred” and the software should provide the
capability for an authorized system operator to blur specific faces and other areas on demand
during a review of stored video. The blurred version of video must be saved and original video
remain unblurred and also stored for future use.
    4. Is I-Pro an approved equal? I didn’t see it specifically listed.
Response: Please provide specific information and technical data sheets on the specific
cameras that you are requesting be reviewed and approved.
    5. Will the network equipment, box, and electrical be installed so we are only hanging camera and
running cable to established equipment or will be providing and installing switch, box, electrical
    outlet, etc.?
Response: The vendor must provide and install the lockable box, network switch to be installed in
the box, and any other equipment that is required to make your system fully operational. BCS will
provide and install the electrical outlet and data outlet with internet. Please see Section 2.4
Project Areas of the RFP and these Sections; 2.5, 2.6,2.7, and 2.9 for more details.
    6. If we are providing and installing all equipment, what will be there for us to connect IT/network
equipment to for connectivity or are we cabling to an IT closet?

    ADDENDUM #2
    Due Date: April 10, 2024
Response: The vendor is fully responsible for capturing video from each camera and storing the
video in the cloud for 90 days. Therefore, the system that the vendor is proposing and installing
MUST access to the internet via BCS network. BCS will provide a data outlet as specified in the RFP
with internet. Please see Sections 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 2.7, and 2.8 for more details.
    7. What is the estimated construction budget?
Response: This project does NOT involve any construction.
    8. Can I get a copy of the mandatory pre-bid meeting sign in sheet and/or plan holder’s list if
    available?
Response: Yes. The sign-in sheet will be sent to vendors that attend the Pre-Proposal Conference.
    9. Do installation locations have existing trash dumpsters onsite that can be used to dispose of post-
    installation
    trash?
Response: No. The vendor must remove any trash associated with their installation.
    10. Will the vendor be allowed to “drop ship” products from the manufacturer or distributor to a
single BCS location as products become available?
Response: No. The vendor will have all products and material shipped to vendor’s location
and bring the required products and material to the BCS site at installation time
    11. Does that central location have a loading dock or will vendors need to factor in “power lift gate
& inside delivery services” into their bid costs?
Response: No central BCS location provided.
    12. If all the equipment is shipped to a single BCS location, will BCS move and stage the equipment to
the appropriate location or does BCS expect the vendor pick up and transport equipment from
the single receiving location to the appropriate locations?
Response: No equipment will be shipped directly to any BCS locations.
    13. Will BCS allow the winning vendor to ship all equipment to an off campus, non-BCS location for
receipt, warehousing and staging product prior to installation?
Response: Yes. The vendor may have all equipment shipped to a secure and insured non-BCS
location for receipt, warehousing, and staging prior to installation.
    14. Will a vendor be allowed to partial invoice BCS for each applicable segment when installation of
that segment is complete at each installation site?
Response: Yes. The Vendor may submit partial billing for a school where all work has been
completed, inspected, and approval by BCS.

    15. After the award winner starts to provide installation services, will that vendor be allowed to
continue the installation services over multiple contiguous business days until the installation is
    complete?
Response: Yes. The overall installation schedule will be jointly developed with input from the
BCS team, project managers, and the vendor.
    16. Will any special equipment be required to access any installation site? If yes, please provide the
estimated number of “lift required” installation sites and maximum number of feet off the floor
that any equipment will be installed.
Response: No. The vendor will determine if any special equipment will be needed to perform
the installation during their site survey
    17. Will the district provide floorplans or dimensions, length-width-height, for the installation areas?
Response: No. BCS does not have complete sets of drawings for each school that contains this
    information.
    18. Please specify the days/hours available for installation.
Response: Potential Installation Days and Hours*

    1:00pm 6:00am (next day)
    Saturday Sunday

    19. Will any afterhours installation activities be required?
Response: Yes. See answer to Question 10.
    20. In reference to the bullet camera specifications, is the district requesting 5MP, or 8MP (4K)
    resolution?
Response: BCS is seeking a 5MP bullet camera.
    21. Can the district provide any detail regarding wall construction? For example, concrete block,
    sheetrock, etc.
Response: No. BCS does not have this information available. The vendor will make this
    determination during their surveys.
    22. Will the district consider a proprietary/closed solution that is not an ONVIF (Open Network Video
    Interface Forum) standard?
Response: No. BCS is seeking a solution that meets the ONVIF standard.
    23. The correct number of self-contained classrooms is 31. Use the attached revisedAttachment
