Addendum #2 - IFB 24-011 Easement Herbicide Treatment

The above solicitation is amended as set forth below; bidders MUST acknowledge receipt of

Please review the following changes/updates:
1. Page 11-12 – Proposal, Item I. & II.
Add 2 Items: Line 7 – 40,000 Feet - Eight Mile Area
Line 8 – 57,000 Feet - Force Main
Note: Proposal, Item III. - the glyphosate application only targets the grass and no woody
vegetation, and if a kill all mix is specified for this area it would kill the hardwood trees along
the easements.
The selective woody herbicides used in Proposal, Item I. & Item II. control the growth and
encroachment of sidewall limbs without killing the entire tree.
Revised Proposal pages 11-14 attached.

award if the cost given is not in the best interest of the Board.
3. This contract is to enhance the Owner’s forces and does not give the Contractor exclusive right to perform the work listed

4. The contract amount performed shall not exceed MAWSS budget for this work, which may be significantly less than
Contract amount awarded.
5. All Bidders for Cogongrass Spraying must have experience in Forest Land application. Proof of experience will be
