Miscellaneous Plumbing Services for RSA Properties
in South Region
RE24-001 RFP
GENERAL: The Retirement Systems of Alabama is seeking bids and qualification
statements and materials from qualified vendors in order to provide
Miscellaneous Plumbing Services for RSA Properties located across the state
(South Region). Bids will be received until 2:00p.m. CST 3.29.2024, at which
time the submission period will be terminated.

Description: The scope of the work is to perform by a qualified licensed
plumbing contractor to provide miscellaneous plumbing services at various
Retirement Systems of Alabama facilities. Additional areas of work may be
encountered during the course of the work. The facilities include:

Qualification: Interested firms must submit their proposal, three copies, in
loose bound form with the following and other relevant information:
As a minimum include with your bid the following:
• Company history and office locations.
• Current service area/radius.
• Certification by the cleaning system manufacturer.
• Copy of Alabama license and locality specific licensing required by
each locality in the service area.
• Corporations must furnish copies of registration with the Alabama
Secretary of State.
• Disclosure of ongoing litigation and claims history from the last five
years.
• Nonresident proposers must furnish a legal opinion of any
preferences granted to proposers in their state of domicile in the
letting of public contracts.
• Current references from similar projects and customers.
*A follow up interview may be required based on the level of interest in the
project and the quality of the submissions.
Information must be presented in the order listed above, indexed and tabbed.
Other supplemental information may be presented at the end of the required
information.
Brochures are discouraged and will not be considered as part of the submittal.
Submissions will be scored by a panel for best compliance with required items,
best quality and ability to immediately provide service, financial status/standing
and highest quality of service personnel. All judgements grade are made in the
sole opinion of the panel.

• Final proposals due, March 29, 2024
• Notice of Award, April 3, 2024
