Chugach Electric Association, Inc. (Chugach) is soliciting Bids from qualified vendors for South
Campus Pole Relocation for delivery to Chugach’s BESS laydown yard on Electron Drive, Anchorage,
Alaska 99518.

Bids are due, uploaded at Chugach’s Website under Inside Chugach tab Bid Opportunities link,
RFB No. 24-05 South Campus Pole Relocation – Submit Bid Button, no later than 2:00 PM
Alaska Time, April 9, 2024.
Questions related to this RFB are due no later than, 4:00 PM, Alaska Time, March 25, 2024,
and should be directed to Josh Travis, Vice President of Administrative Services, via email at
contracts@chugachelectric.com. Answers to questions will be provided by 5:00 PM, Alaska
Time, March 30, 2024.
The steel pole structures are to be delivered and off-loaded, F.O.B to Chugach’s BESS laydown
yard on Electron Drive, Anchorage, Alaska 99518. Delivery is required no earlier than November
1, 2024, and no later than December 15, 2024. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $500 per
calendar day for late delivery.
Bids and all supporting instruments must be submitted on the forms furnished by Chugach and
must be uploaded at Chugach’s website as instructed above. Facsimile or other transmittal of Bids
is NOT acceptable.
Prior to submission of all Bids, the Bidders shall make and shall be deemed to have made a careful
examination of the Plans and Specifications, and any other matters, including transportation
facilities that may affect the cost and the time of completion of the work.
Bids are to be valid for 30 days from the Bid due date.
Chugach reserves the right, in its sole and complete discretion, to define and/or waive irregularities, to
accept or reject any or all Bids, in whole or part, and to reissue, withdraw or cancel the Project in its
entirety for any reason, without incurring any liability of any type or nature to any Bidder or Contractor,
including but not limited to any costs associated with Bid preparation and submittal.
