Project: Request for Qualifications - 2023 Aerial Photography and Lidar
Proposals Due: May 26, 2023 at 5:00 PM Alaska time
The purpose of this document is to solicit proposals from professional consultants to provide aerial photography and lidar services for the 2023 update cycle. The professional firm “Firm” shall design a cost proposal for acquiring and processing high resolution light detection and ranging and digital orthoimagery for the City of Valdez. The proposal shall include previous, if any, completed Alaska projects of similar nature and/or scope; as well as qualifications of involved staff and their relevant experience.
The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and other facilities necessary to perform the required services in accordance with the 2003 City of Valdez Standards & Specifications and local code amendments.

The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in a quote, to reject any and all quotes without cause, and to re-solicit for quotes.
Current minimum prevailing wage rates as published by the Alaska Department of Labor must be paid if required by law.
Requirements of the Alaska Employment Preference (AS 36.10) must be met.
