Issued By: Ruby Sifflet-Hill Email: rsifflet-hill@oaklandca.gov Phone: 510-238-7560 The City of Oakland Fire Department personnel uses miscellaneous tools, personal protective equipment, supplies, and equipment (hand and power tools) for emergency and non-emergency applications. The Fire Department is inviting qualified firms to submit a bid to purchase these tools, supplies, personal protective gear, and equipment. Please note that while this Request for Quote (RFQ) contains many items, vendors are not required to bid on all items and are encouraged to bid only on the items they are fully capable and qualified to provide to the City of Oakland. Multiple awards may be granted to meet the requirements of this RFQ. All products offered must be new, unused and the most current product lines, unless otherwise clearly identified as remanufactured goods. Any contract(s) resulting from this RFQ will be for a period of three (3) years with an option to extend for two (2) additional years, by mutual agreement between the city and the contract awardee (s). The total value the resulting contract (s) is estimated to be $1,000,000.00 annually including any optional years if exercised. The City of Oakland makes no guarantee as to the dollar value of orders to be authorized pursuant to the award of any contract(s). This Request for Quotation and any subsequent contract award will be in strict accordance with the documents identified herein. Offeror should check and be sure that they have received all documents and should follow the instructions contained within this RFQ when preparing their bid. Please avoid mistakes.
