2. We have forwarded your bid form to our vendor to match up items for quoting. They have asked if you
can unlock the Excel sheet so they can provide this information.
Answer: No, we lock cells that cannot be manipulated. Colum F (unit cost) and column H are accessible
to be edited; they are unlocked.
3. Do you happen to know if Bakersfield CSD will be going out to bid for their Food Service Supplies for
the 2024-25 school year?

4. Can I please get the excel file back unlocked? I need to put it in a file for myself.

5. Line 12 on your bid docs, for the sample due date is for 4/10/2024 @ 10 am. Is that date correct?
Answer: Correct. If bidding a substitute product, the sample must meet the April 10, 2024 deadline for
consideration.
6. Good morning, Is it possible to unlock certain cells on this bid so that our vendors can fill in their
information.
Answer: Colum F (unit cost) and column H are accessible to be edited; they are unlocked.
7. Are digital signatures accepted on item substitution forms?
Answer: All bids must be signed in longhand with the company name and by a responsible officer or
employee. All responses including the attached bid form must be sealed and delivered to the Department
of Stores and Purchasing Services, 1300 Baker Street, Bakersfield, California, on or before Wednesday,
April 17, 2024, at 11:00 am.
8. Can you please send me the previous awarded contract and the incumbent provider?
