RFP-Engineering Design Services for Eucalyptus Avenue Recycled Water Line & Pavement Rehabilitation Project.
The following is a summary only and does not replace the full RFP.
Background:
The City of Chino Hills is seeking a qualified engineering firm to provide engineering design services consisting of new recycled water line including associated appurtenances and connections, new pedestrian Hawk Signal, striping modifications, sidewalk improvements, and pavement rehabilitation.
The objective is to tie-in to IEUA's existing recycled water main feed along Eucalyptus and install a new recycled waterline feed (RWL) and necessary appurtenances from the tie-in point to feed both Veteran and Crossroads Parks along Chino Hills Parkway. Consideration of a booster pump may be required due to the elevation changes along Eucalyptus Drive.
The City has also assessed the existing pavement and traffic conditions on Eucalyptus Avenue and determined the need to include street improvements containing 2-inch grind and overlay, access ramps updated to meet current ADA standards, adjusting manholes and water valves to grade, restriping, and installation of a Hawk Signal at east Galloping Hills Road and Eucalyptus Avenue.
These improvements shall take place on Eucalyptus Avenue just west of Park Entrance to Chino Hills Parkway as shown in Attachment No. 1 - Location Map.
