The following is a summary only and does not replace the full RFP.

Background:

The City of Chino Hills is soliciting proposal from qualified and experienced engineering firms specializing in water engineering to perform professional engineering design services for the City's English Road Recycled Water Line Project. The City of Chino Hills is in search of expanding its existing recycled water line infrastructure to provide an environmentally preferred water source for irrigation and help reduce domestic water usage. This project would allow areas with large consumptions of water (i.e., English Springs Park and Country Springs Elementary School) to utilize this for their irrigation. Also, along English Road and English Place there ae multiple residents that use a large consumption of water for their irrigation and horses.

The objective is to add a new recycled water line feed, appurtenances, and connections by tying into the city's existing recycled water main at the intersection of Peyton Drive and English Road and run westerly along English Road to feed equestrian properties, English Springs Park, Country Springs Elementary School, and potential users in between.

These improvements shall take place along English Road from Peyton Drive to Village Center Drive, along Village Center Drive from English Springs Park to Country Springs Elementary School, and English Place from English Road to the end of property (or end of existing water easement). The submittal package shall include: five (5) bound copies and one (1) electronic copy (flash drive is preferred method, emails not accepted) of the proposal, one (1) original and four (4) copies of the cost proposal in a separate sealed envelope clearly marked "Sealed Cost Proposal" and a signed W-9.

Proposer must be willing to enter into an agreement with the City of Chino Hills. A copy of the agreement accompanies the full RFP. Please review this agreement and provide the City with a written statement of your firm's willingness to accept the terms of the agreement. Please specifically identify each and every term of the agreement which your firm is unwilling to accept and the reason therefore.
