I. INTRODUCTION/ SCOPE
The City of Craig Wastewater Department is seeking bid proposals
for 3500 Feet 12/4 Electric Cable/Wire With Plugs

This specification describes the requirements for 3500 feet 12/4 Wire with Male and Female
connectors specified.
The item must be safe and efficient to operate and built strong and durable enough for heavy-
duty operation over extended periods of time in a municipal setting. All standard equipment
as shown in the manufacturer’s printed literature must be included in the bid, plus any
modifications to meet OSHA federal and state regulations in all respects. The item must be
new and of manufacturer’s current model year in production at the time of delivery, and not
a model to be phased out of production. It is stressed that what follows are minimum
specifications and while they mention only the salient descriptive points of the item, they do
not exclude any major or minor items not specifically mentioned, but which
would normally and reasonably be necessary for proper, safe, efficient, and beneficial use
and ownership.
Bidding instructions:
A. Each technical items of this specifications shall be individually annotated by the bidder
in the first column provided on the sheet with one of the following statements:
1. meets
2. exceeds
3. does not meet
4. not applicable
B. If any item is marked “exceeds”, “does not meet”, or “not applicable”, details must be
given in the second column provided, along with each entry describing what exactly is
being bid.
C. The individual cost of each item of the specifications must also be annotated if its cost
has not been included in the basic bid price.
D. Complete printed literature, publications, and photograph of the unit proposed must be
included with each bid.
