INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for furnishing the following to the City of Cortez, Colorado will be received at the Office of the General Services Director, City Service Center, 110 West Progress Circle, Cortez, Colorado, 81321, until 2:00 P.M., on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read.

BID ITEM: Remove, and Dispose current Boilers, and circulation pumps, Furnish and install new Boilers, circulation pumps, and four 2” water supply ball valves, relocate new boilers 20” to the north, as per plans and Specs.

Note: Mandatory Pre-bid walk-though for the project is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Only bidders attending the mandatory walk-through will be allowed to submit bids for the project. Meet at the front desk at the Recreation Center.

City will provide plumbing permit and inspections.

PROVIDE REFERENCES AND A DESCRIPTION OF SIMILAR WORK PERFORMED.

Bids shall be submitted in writing and signed by the bidder or his duly authorized agent. bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, and marked on the outside with “BID:

2024 RECREATION CENTER BOILER REPLACEMENT PROJECT”, and with the bidder's name.

The City of Cortez reserves the right to waive any formality or any informality in the process of awarding a bid. The City of Cortez reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, and to reject any or all bids if it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so.
