Summary

Background
The Mansfield Public Schools are located in Mansfield (Connecticut) and are the local grades pK
8 School District. We are seeking HPE Aruba Network Core Switch Infrastructure Hardware as
specified below.
Core Specifications
HPE Aruba Network Core Switch Infrastructure Hardware
Quantity 1: HPE Aruba CX 6405 v2 - switch - managed - rack-mountable (Item # R0X26C)
Quantity 2: HPE Aruba Power supply 1800 Watt (Item # R0X35A)
Quantity 1: HPE Aruba 6400 24-port SFP+ 4-port SFP56 v2 Module (Item # R0X43C)
Quantity 1: HPE Aruba 6400 48-port 1GbE PoE 4-port SFP56 v2 Module (Item # R0X39C)
The above core specifications do not include installation labor. District staff will complete the
physical installation of the equipment.
Selection Process
Pricing is the driving factor in the selection process; however, it is not the only factor, as the
District will consider the vendor’s ability to fulfill this product request. The District reserves the
right to reject any or all submissions, to select an applicant in a manner that is advantageous to
the District, and to waive all formalities in the bidding. The District reserves the right to request
additional information from vendors. The District reserves the right to potentially modify the
above quantities depending on pricing and available funding.
The District does not expressly state or imply any obligation to reimburse responding applicants
for any expenses incurred in preparing submissions in response to this request. The selected
firm is expected to meet any relevant state and federal legal requirements. The District is an
