Oak Terrace Heat Pumps

Sealed bids are invited and will be received by the Borough of Naugatuck, Accounting Department, Town Hall, 229 Church Street, Naugatuck, CT 06770 on behalf of the Naugatuck Housing Authority, until Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM for the installation of new heat pumps.
Immediately following the above time and date sealed bids will be publicly opened and read at the Town Hall at the Borough of Naugatuck, Hall of Burgesses, 229 Church Street, Naugatuck, CT 06770 and read aloud.
Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided and in a sealed envelope plainly marked with the appropriate title “Naugatuck Housing Authority, Oak Terrace Heat Pumps”.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at Oak Terrace, 53 Conrad Street, Naugatuck, CT, on February 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the Community Room. All prospective bidders are required to attend.
A satisfactory Bid Bond or Certified Check, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid, must be submitted with each bid. The Bid Bond shall be made payable to the Naugatuck Housing Authority and shall be properly executed by the Bidder. A 100% Performance, Labor and Material Bond is also required. All sureties must be listed on the most recent IRS circular 570.
The attention of bidders is directed to certain requirements of this contract which require payment of Davis-Bacon wages, compliance with certain local, state and federal requirements including but not limited to Section 3. This is a Federally funded project.

Note: Any addenda to this bid will be issued via email from the plan room. Contractors intending to bid must register with Advanced Reproductions to receive addenda and or additional information.
The Borough of Naugatuck and the Naugatuck Housing Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informalities, or to accept any bid deemed in the best interests of the Borough of Naugatuck and the Naugatuck Housing Authority.
All bids will be considered valid for a period of sixty (60) days.
