The purpose of this Invitation For Bid (IFB) is to evaluate and select a vendor to provide construction for approximately 1,350 feet of 20-inch Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) water main. The existing cast iron water main will be replaced with same diameter ductile iron piping (DIP) through open-cut construction. The existing pipeline will be properly removed or abandoned in place and filled with grout after construction of the new pipeline. A more detailed description of the Work is provided in the Technical Specifications included as an Exhibit to this Solicitation. Capitalized terms used in this Solicitation without definition shall have the definitions given to them in Section 2 of this Solicitation.
