INVITATION TO BID
PART 1
GENERAL
1.1 CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
A. Bidders are invited to Bid on a Construction Contract known as the Sunset Hills Park –
Site Improvements Project.
B. For information about the award of this Construction Contract contact Jason Erekson,

1.2 DESCRIPTION OF WORK
A. Location of Work: 6420 South Oquirrh Mesa Dr., West Valley City, Utah 84081.
B. Scope of Work: Contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment,
coordination and incidentals necessary to complete work as described in the Contract
Documents. The work to be performed generally includes, but is not limited to the
following:
1. The complete construction of a new city neighborhood park Includes site clearing
and grubbing, excavation and earth work, rough grading, top soil screening,
irrigation system installation with controller, top soil placement, finish grading,
sod/hydro-seed/drill seed turf, trees, shrubs, groundcover, concrete flatwork,
concrete curbing, concrete retaining walls, pre-fabricated pavilion installation,
playground installation, impact material installation, drainage system installation,
lights and light piers, electrical system, electrical service, drinking fountain and
park sign.
2.
Other work normally encountered during construction on improved and unimproved
properties.
1.3 BIDDERS’ PRE-QUALIFICATION
A. Bidders are not required to be pre-qualified for this project.
1.4 BASIS OF BIDS
A. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. Unsealed or segregated Bids will not be
accepted. Bidders shall comply with all Instructions to Bidders.
