    Addendum #1 to Information for Bid No. 24-39-TS is issued in accordance with the IFB Terms &
    Conditions and is intended to provide additional information and clarification to Bidders.
    Addendum #1 consists of one (1) item(s) which is listed below, attached hereto and made a part
    hereof to IFB No. 24-39-TS.
    ITEM 1 – Q & A
    1. May I please get the last bid tab and current supplier/price for Polyaluminum Chloride?
    RESPONSE: See Attachment B – Bid Tab WWT Chemicals IFB #18-19-TV. Current
    supplier for Polyaluminum Chloride is Suffolk Sales via USALCO. Price $3.35 per gallon.
    2. Can we please get the current pricing/supplier of the products listed on the bid above?
    Also, can we get a copy of the previous bid tab results?
    RESPONSE: Please see Attachment A – Current pricing and Vendors
    3. I would like to request a copy of the current suppliers and their prices.
    RESPONSE: Please see Response to Question 2
    4. Is the material for 50lb bags of hydrate? Does the Thornburg location only order 1 bag per
    delivery? The Estimated Delivery Per Order shows 50lbs.
    RESPONSE: Soda Ash is sold by the pallet in 50-pound bags. One pallet contains 54 bags
    of soda ash. Thornburg is priced in 1,3 and 4 pallet increments.
    5. May I also get the name of the Polyaluminum Chloride being used, please?
    RESPONSE: DelPAC 1525
    6. What supplier and price is the County paying for each product currently?

    7. Item # 5 – Soda-Ash – please advise if price breaks are allowed based on quantity orders?
    Please provide annual volume of each product, and estimated delivery per order per plant.
    RESPONSE: In previous years, the price per pound of soda ash has gone down based on
    amount ordered (specifically Thornburg) – see Attachment A – Current Pricing and
    Vendors. If pricing other than the unit of measure specified on the Bid Form there is a
    column to specify a different unit of measure. If there is a range of pricing based on
    quantity, you can annotate that on the Bid Form, on the Response Statement, page 3 of the
    Bid Form. Breakdown per plant:
    • Massaponax typically orders a full truckload which is 16 pallets (54 50# bags per
    pallet) or 43,200 lbs. We typically order 11 truckloads per fiscal year. $.475/lb
    when ordered this way.
    • FMC typically orders 4 pallets at a time (54 50# bags per pallet) or 10,800 lbs.
    They typically make this order 4 times per year. $.53/lb when ordered this way.
    • Thornburg typically orders 4 pallets at a time (54 50# bags per pallet) or 10,800
    lbs. They typically make this order 2 times per year. $.53/lb when ordered this
    way.
    8. For this bid, only one original is required to be submitted, or do you require any copies to
    be submitted as well?
    RESPONSE: One Original is sufficient.
