The City of Port Angeles is competitively soliciting bids for the Wastewater Capacity Improvements project.

Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 PM, Friday, April 28th, 2023, and no later.
In general, the project includes but is not limited to the following:

Installation of a new 20-inch nominal diameter HDPE sanitary sewer force main, via sliplining an existing abandoned 48-inch industrial water line and via open cut construction within existing City of Port Angeles roadways and right-of-way.

Installation of new 18-inch nominal diameter PVC gravity sewer via open cut construction within existing City of Port Angeles roadways and right-of-way.

Installation of new 21-inch nominal diameter PVC gravity sewer via open cut construction within existing City of Port Angeles roadways and right-of-way.

Installation of new 6-inch DIP potable water main to replace existing 6-inch AC water main where impacted by the new 18-inch gravity sewer alignment.

Installation of new 16-inch nominal diameter DIP and HDPE sanitary sewer force main via open cut construction at the existing City of Port Angeles Pump Station 03 site.

Installation of new 12-inch nominal diameter DIP and HDPE sanitary sewer force main via open cut construction at the existing City of Port Angeles Pump Station 03 site.

Installation of 9 new sanitary sewer manholes

Installation of three new combination air/vacuum relief valve vaults.

Installation of new 4-inch PVC electrical conduit via open cut construction within existing City of Port Angeles roadways and right-of-way.

Installation of a new flowmeter and flowmeter vault and associated yard piping, site and pump station electrical improvements, controls integration and all related site work such as grading, crushed rock surfacing, fencing, and hot mix asphalt paving.

Installation of 4 new curb ramps.

Installation of new 6-inch PVC storm drain laterals to replace existing 6-inch storm drain laterals where impacted by the new curb ramps.

Demolition of existing 10-inch and 15-inch sanitary sewer piping along the new gravity sewer alignment.

Demolition of various existing roadway and site features along the force main and gravity sewer alignments and at the existing Pump Station 03 site.
