1 - This RFP is open to all interested suppliers.
2 - The City is seeking proposals from interested Suppliers for Hi-rail vehicles and equipment that will be used for a variety of tasks. It is The City’s expectation that delivered Units will be ready to be put into service and meet all specifications and operational requirements as outlined in Form 1. The City aims to establish mutually beneficial support and communication between the awarded party to ensure that any issues that may impact City operations are addressed in an efficient manner. The Supplier will also be expected to provide ongoing parts and service support throughout the lifecycle of each Unit. The City has a requirement for different types of hi-rail maintenance equipment as outlined in four (4) different Schedules (A, B, C and D). Please refer to the full RFP document for details.
3 - This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
4 - The Agreement will be for an initial term of two (2) year(s). The Agreement may be renewed, two (2) times for two (2) years each time, no more than six (6) years in total.
