Description

This Request for Supplier Qualifications (RFSQ) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS) to prospective Respondents to provide Responses to be included on prequalified list of suppliers, in accordance with Evaluation of Responses (Part 2). The prequalified suppliers must be able to supply and install smart motor or variable frequency drive (VFD) technology for electrical motors rated 5hp or above, on an “if and when required” basis

The Ministry has a list of building maintenance or upgrade projects identified for Green House Gas (GHG) reductions, climate change initiatives, and energy management strategies. Annual budget will determine how many building projects will be advertised each year. Project specifics will be provided in the second-stage competition(s).

One main goal to reduce GOS carbon footprint is to address Heating Venting Air Conditioning (HVAC) system electrical motor efficiency. Each building and HVAC system is unique. An electrical design engineer will provide the design report separately to this competition and prior to the second-stage competition(s).
