NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP)

Title: Relocation and Set Up of Transportable Cell Trailers from Swan River, MB to Brandon, MB

Solicitation Number: M5000-23-0427/A

Description:

1         Preparation for Transport

1.1         Disconnect all outside service connections including hydro, communications, and oil tanks.

1.2         Remove flashing between units

1.3         Remove existing blocking and separate trailers.

1.4        Wood platform and stairs to be removed and prepared for transportation

1.5         Remove existing skirting and demolish

1.6         Supply 6060 x 2440mm new sea can and deliver to site.

1.7         Supply 53’- 0 “dry van” for transport of loose materials.

2         Transportation to Brandon

2.1         Obtain all licenses, permits, and other clearance paperwork to allow transport to Brandon, MB

2.2         Supply all tractors, pilot vehicles, etc. required to move modules.

2.3         Transport all modules and associated components to Brandon, MB

2.4         Locate Modules in Brandon in location to as shown.

2.5         Block units as per drawings for storage of units in Brandon, MB

3        Installation of Trailers in Brandon

3.1         Install new hydro as per Brandon site plan

3.2         Install new communication and line

3.3         Re-verify fire alarm system in lines.

3.4         Supply new stairs and platforms

3.5         Test all mechanical systems and supply a report to the departmental representative.

3.6         Water tanks to be full at turn over to the departmental representative

The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by 31st July 2024.

This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first.

No further Request for Qualifications will be published for this solicitation.

There is a security requirement associated with the requirement.
