This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of Regina to prospective proponents to submit proposals for "South Trunk Wastewater Capacity Upgrades Project-Contract 1" as further described in the RFP.

The South Trunk Wastewater Capacity Upgrades Project is a continuation of a multi-year, multi-million-dollar initiative to systematically increase the capacity of the City of Regina’s wastewater collection system.

The deliverables of this competition shall include, but is not limited to:

• Construction of cast-in-place concrete structure.
• Supply and installation of miscellaneous metals and FRP grates.
• Supply and installation of dewatering pump and associated dewatering piping, fittings, valves, and electrical work.
• Supply and installation of sluice gates and flap gates.
• Supply and installation of 2100mm, 1950mm and 1500mm reinforced concrete pipe (RCP).
• Supply and installation of precast concrete structures, among other related work.

Unless otherwise indicated, and subject to applicable exceptions and exclusions, this procurement is covered by:

Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement

Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement

Article 14 of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement

There will not be a public opening however the list of firm names who submitted a response will be posted to the Sasktenders website.

There will be a pre-submission meeting regarding this competition on March 20, 2024, at 9 a.m., C.S.T. (SK) for any interested proponents to attend. Interested proponents are required to send a request for the link to the RFP contact in section 1.2 before 2:00 pm on March 19, 2024, if they wish to attend online. In-person option is also available for this pre-submission meeting.
