Question
Being that this is an RFI, how much detail does the county expect regarding pricing?
Answer

The County appreciates as much detail as you can provide with your estimate, however it’s understood that this is not a binding figure and that more information and discussion would need to take place before a more complete price could be provided.

Question
What kind of systems does data need to be imported from and exported to?
Answer
Johnson County would prefer to work with the current vendor to migrate data into the new system. The specific number of tables, rows, and columns that would need to be migrated is unclear at this time, but we would appreciate if you could provide data conversion costs for a client of a comparable size to Johnson County. It is not anticipated that any integrations will be necessary.

Question
Regarding eligibility screenings, does this mean insurance eligibility checks and is the desire to have the Case Management facilitate this electronically?
Answer
The County has limited resources to provide assistance to residents in need and uses eligibility requirements in order help residents with the greatest need. While the specific requirements for eligibility may change over time, the County is seeking the ability to enter client information into the system, compare this against set criteria, and automatically determine if a resident is eligible for services. For more information on current eligibility criteria please visit https://www.jocogov.org/department/aging-and-human-services/outreach-services/utility-assistance

Question
Can you elaborate on the type of cases the county manages?
Answer
This project would be for case management for low-income residents of Johnson County in need of rent assistance, utility assistance, and/or food pantry. AHS staff also provide some assistance in budget coaching and linking to outside resources. The County uses eligibility criteria to determine sufficient need to provide services to residents in need.
